Tour Highlights

It’s the dream coastal road. This spectacular fall cycling vacation  features some of the most diverse coastal cycling routes in the world.  Start your tour in the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains in the beautiful beach town of Half Moon Bay.  Cycle iconic Highway One along the California Central Coast, on road suspended high above the Pacific Ocean. You will ride hugging the edge of the continent as it snakes down the California coast,  flirting with towering majestic redwood forests, rugged cliffs and crashing waves.  Yes, those ocean vistas are incredible.  You’ll see – rugged coastline, sea lions, historic lighthouses and old Spanish missions,  enjoy a charming evening out in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Overnights in Santa Cruz, Monterey, Big Sur, the sleepy beach village of Cambria and the Dutch Colonial- flavored town of Solvang. We will cycle past luxurious inns and the sun-kissed Santa Ynez Valley vineyards & explore Hearst Castle.  On this cycling vacation more than just coastal scenery will take your breath away.  During the evenings, dine on California cuisine while sipping locally grown wines at its best – both as varied and exceptional as the rides themselves. Join us on this cycling vacation and experience true California with its relaxed vibe, spectacular scenery and gastronomy.
